Our RP9 range covers more than thirty fabricated sheet metal 9-inch housing configurations – from basic non-braced street setups through to fully braced race housings. Every housing is hand fabricated and CNC finished to provide a straight, accurate foundation for your build. With more than 5,000 RP9 housings built, we have a pretty good idea of what we’re doing.
Designed for drag racing and high-performance street applications, our fabricated RP9 housings deliver the strength, rigidity and reliability demanded by serious builds. Whether you’re building a hot rod, a 4,000-horsepower drag car, or simply want the perfect finishing touch for your rear end, these housings are built to perform and look the part.
Every RP9 housing is designed and manufactured in-house at our Brisbane facility using precision welding and CNC machining. Built from new by Race Products, each housing is TIG welded for exceptional strength and finish, then CNC finished and tailored to suit your application, with or without an optional back brace.
All housings include:
- Brand new RP9 sheet metal housing, manufactured by Race Products
- Brand new CNC-machined faceplates, manufactured by Race Products
- ARP studs, nuts and washers fitted
- Fill and drain fitted
- Race Products billet filler cap, drain plug and breather fitting
Options:
- Material Options
- Mild Steel: Available with 3″ or 3.5″ tubes, with or without optional back braces
- 4130 Chromoly: Available with 3.5″ tubes, with or without optional back braces
- Back Braces
- Available in lengths of 900mm, 1100mm, or 1300mm
- Can be supplied separately or pre-fitted and TIG welded to the housing
- O-Ring faceplate option available for enhanced sealing
