Race Products’ cambered CV ball drive axles are widely used in circuit racing, speedway, tarmac and gravel rally. The system uses drive plates with an integral CV joint cup, matched with a one-piece billet CV ball drive axle, designed to allow large camber and toe angles with minimal frictional losses. Standard fitment in the New Zealand V8 SuperTourer series.

Every axle we make is designed and machined in-house from billet material, heat treated, shot peened, then straightened to a runout tolerance tighter than the big name brands. Peening hammers the surface into compression, so fatigue cracks struggle to get started where an axle works hardest: the spline roots and the neck.

Every axle includes the following:

• One-piece billet axle, machined in-house
• CV ball drive end to suit our drive plates
• True involute hobbed splines for uniform load distribution and proper mating with spools, LSDs and OEM components
• Heat treated, shot peened and straightened to a tight runout tolerance
• Batch marked for full material traceability

Options:

Material: EN26 | 300M

Snout: 70 mm | 70.5 mm | 77.5 mm. The snout is the drive flange diameter (the wheel register), and it sets the shaft size. It has to match your kit: 400 is 70 mm, 750 is 70 or 77.5 mm, 900 and 950 are 77.5 mm, 960 is 70.5 mm.

Spline: CV ball drive from 10 to 35 spline: Escort, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Alfa, Holden banjo, Ford 9″ and more.

Shaft: 21, 26, 30.5 or 34 mm, set by the snout and spline.

Length: overall, tip to tip, made to your length. Sold per axle. A kit needs two.
